I really don't feel like this manga's arcs are a drag, I really like the story and characters and I don't feel like a bother to see them interact.
Anyway, it's always a pleasant surprise whenever a new chapter drops.

Usato has the two main girls in the harem (fox and owl). Then he has the sick princess, the dragon warrior, the female hero, the beast girl, as his harem that aren't with him all the time! If he wasn't so oblivious who knows who would have an actual chance of winning.

The manga has now finished covering LN Vol 7, and will now be moving to LN 8 - where we'll finally get to solving Amako's mom's problem.
Which means that for the anime adaptation, it will take quite a few seasons for it to reach this point of the manga (since S1 covered LNs 1-2).

So Usato & co. left the Lyngle Kingdom to go on this journey in chapter 16. They're finally on their way to the Beast Kingdom after chapter 74. When more seasons of the anime come out they're either gonna increase the pacing a shit ton or it'll take until like season 5 to get to this point, lol.

Likely it'll take until season 5, because increasing the pacing a shit ton will result in too much content getting cut out. Given the 12 episodes per season standard, I expect at least about 2-3 LNs to be covered per season.
