The Icebar in London has now closed permanently.
Everyone has to visit an Icebar once, although probably only once. Of course, it is a gimmick: you know you it is a small, crowded bar, you won't (and can't) stay long and that the drinks are expensive, but it is fun. Sure the drinks are girly, fruity affairs, but everyone loves them. It's a great place to start a special night out.
The Grandaddy, the Icebar at the ICEHOTEL in northern Sweden is unquestionably the best, but for London it is pretty damn good. The London bar is one up on the bar in Stockholm, and it is a shade cheaper too.
On the lower ground floor they have a stylish Reindeer Lounge and Moose Dining Room. Despite the enticing names the food on offer is fairly international. Nonetheless, many people take advantage of their Icebar & Dine packages, which can turn the visit into an even more memorable occasion.
